Have these 5 things in your medicine cabinet before you get sick
1. Propolis
Used by honey bees as the glue to seal cracks in their beehives and as protection from invaders, propolis is antimicrobial, antiviral, and anti-cancer, antioxidant, and immune system boosting. Great for the onset of sore throats.
2. Manuka Honey
Typically found in regions of Australia, New Zealand, and Tanzania, Manuka Honey has great healing powers due to it microbial content. Manuka honey can heal sore throats as wells as ulcers and other digestive disorders.
3. Elderberry
An ancient remedy used in our new age to heal respiratory illnesses. These berries contain loads of beneficial immune boosting agents. Most effective for colds and flus. Some newer products on the market contain added zinc and vitamin C for additional immune benefits.
4. Mushrooms
Mushrooms are so powerful and unique, they even have their own kingdom. The mushrooms I’m referring to are medicinal mushrooms. A variety of mushrooms are known to support the immune system in times of stress and illness and have also been studied for their anti-cancer benefits. These medicinal mushrooms include Cordycepts, Maitake, Chaga, Turkey Tail, Reishi and many others. A definite go to when general stress and fatigue hits.
5. Mini trampoline
Yes, you read that right, a mini trampoline. Though it might be a tight squeeze for your medicine cabinet, it’s worth building a new one to accommodate the size. Jumping on a trampoline is a form of Rebounding. Rebounding is a great addition to any of the aforementioned remedies. Rebounding will get lymph to move and activate our immune cells. Since our lymph doesn’t have it’s own pump like the heart, rebounding creates movement and promotes circulation and drainage.
Please omit if any allergies exist to bees and bee products as well as mushrooms.
